Fuck wake-up lights, de enige wekker die men nodig had in 2016 heet No Woman van Whitney. In een jaar met opmerkelijk weinig Let It Happen's, Pretty Pimpin's en Multi-Love's, torent het hypermelancholische meestwerk mijlenver boven de rest uit, en dat terwijl de band een jaar geleden nog niet eens officieel bestond. Een verademing, een oase van rust, een walhalla in een jaar waarin we dat meer dan ooit nodig hadden. Het was een bewogen jaar, zo zullen we het de komende weken nog veelvuldig bestempelen, maar het was ook een jaar waarin pop nog zelfverzekerder bovenop zijn troon zat.
